With his great sword Samehada, which was noted to be the most frightening of the seven blades, Fuguki could absorb chakra from his opponents. Fuguki could also harden his hair to shoot a multitude of senbon-like hair or extend it to create spear-like hair to pierce multiple opponents simultaneously. Fuguki's generation of swordsmen were noted to be the strongest in the village's history and, just like those other members, he too was capable of using Silent Killing, as seen when fighting the Third Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces while under the effect of his former colleague Zabuza Momochi's Hiding in Mist Technique, showing that he, despite his bulk, had a high level of stealth. Ironically, Fuguki betrayed his village, selling information to the enemies, making him a hypocrite of his belief this crime, coupled with Fuguki dropping his guard during a meeting, led to his death at Kisame's hands.Īs one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Fuguki was one of the most powerful shinobi produced within Kirigakure. Before the swordsmen could attack, Might Duy intervened and fought off Fuguki and his teammates, by using the Eight Gates at the cost of his life, taking down four of Fuguki's allies in the anime. Some time after the Third Shinobi World War, Fuguki alongside the other seven swordsmen, cornered a team of Konoha shinobi consisting of Might Guy, Ebisu, and Genma Shiranui.
